Here's what I've been working on this week :) I wanted to post it earlier but since it was a gift, I didn't want to spoil the surprise :)
I already had most of the materials on hand, except for the Osnaburg fabric. Remember the burlap ribbon I used to decorate my Christmas Tree? I used some of it to add around the pillow. I found my burlap ribbon at Ella Elaine's booth at the Antique Company Mall in McKinney. I absolutely LOVE that place! I also purchased some fancy stencils to personalized the pillow. A little bit of bling to the final touch and voilà!
Here's another little pillow I had time to squeeze in my week. Ok... my close friends know how "off" I really am. No, not mentally (well maybe a little - haha). I realize I didn't center the ruffle. If I had, you'd know I probably didn't make it! I always seem to be off center or slightly crooked.
When my cousin saw the small pillow, she thought she'd use it for the ring bearer to carry. Nice :)
those pillows are so cute, love the stencil idea.
