Showing Spirit!

Two of our local high school football teams made it to State this year! Even though both teams lost, fans of Ryan and Guyer found comfort in the fact that no district had sent two teams to state championship games in the same year since 1962.

The stands were full of red shirts in support of our Ryan Raiders and some of us showed spirit in other ways.

Getting ready to cheer our Raiders on! Yes - that's a rub-on tattoo on my face.

My experiment with coffee filters and a printer.  Go Ryan Raiders!

Yep! They played at Cowboy's Stadium : )

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

I don't know about you guys but I haven't been able to get motivated to shop or finish decorating.  I'm one that works best under pressure and I'm starting to feel it!  Especially, since I have gifts that need to be taken to the post office for delivery. I haven't even started shopping for my own family!  I don't like shopping! Not even online.  Is this normal?  I tried to get some shopping done yesterday but enjoyed a long lunch with a great friend and visited some shops in Frisco.  I didn't buy a darn thing!  I don't know how that happens...  Anyway - Half the day has passed today and I still haven't shopped. There's always tonight :)

Happy Shopping Everyone!

Coffee Anyone?

I thought by now I'd get bored with making these coffee filter flowers - but Nope! I'm excited to use them with my Christmas decorations... along with burlap of course ;)

These embellished tags will be a cute addition to any gift under the tree.

See something you'd like?  I don't have my Etsy shop up and running yet but you can email me or drop me a line on my Facebook page.

It's A Wrap

By simply wrapping your favorite printed paper or textured fabric around a tapered candle, the right amount of charm can be added to any room.

Denim Do-Overs

There are so many things to be made from an old pair of jeans.  Flowers, rings (I'll post those soon) and these cute tattered pockets.  They are the perfect gift bag for a teacher, co-worker or just to have hanging around at home.  I keep one on my door with my to-do-list tucked in the pocket.

The perfect size for a gift card!

Teachers love treats!  Stuff these with their favorite candy.

Small bottles of scented lotions fit perfectly.

Corn husk wreath

No,  I didn't buy the corn husks with intentions of making tamales (but that sounds sooo good right about now).  That's way too much work!  Although, this project was a little time consuming, but totally worth it in the end!

Creatively Creating

It seems as if I've lost my motivation to keep up my blogging.  For now, enjoy some pictures of what's been keeping me busy.

Without a doubt, these two monsters always keep me busy!
